SPRING CONCERT: Monday, May 11, 2009

7:00 P. M. at Mount Hebron UMC

3050 Leaphart Road, West Columbia SC

(Across the street from Pineview Elementary School)

**Chorus students are to be dressed for the concert and seated in the sanctuary of the church by 5:30 P.M. (Soloists at 5:00). We will have a rehearsal to check sound, etc.

 

***We are performing on this date because this is the LAST day before PASS testing. ***

 

CONCERT DRESS: blue jeans (nice looking) and your 2008 – 2009 chorus t’shirt.  PROPS are TBA.

 

SOLOIST AUDITIONS: Friday, April 17^th at 8:05 A.M.

Mrs. Humphries will be here to judge the auditions! If you would like help with a selection, plan to stay after school until 4:30 on Thursday, April 16^th.  You will sing a part of the song for the audition. 

 

CHOREOGRAPHY: We will begin choreography next week!  Specifics are TBA.

 

REQUIRED REHEARSALS (ALL 7^th and 8^th grade chorus students): You must attend three out of four rehearsals.  Each rehearsal counts as 33% of your rehearsal grade.

Tuesday, April 21: 3:30 – 5:00 in the chorus room

Wednesday, April 29: 3:30 – 5:00 in the chorus room

Tuesday, May 5: 3:30 – 5:00 in the chorus room

Friday, May 8: 3:30 – 5:00 in the chorus room

 

Chorus Spring Field Trip (tentative):  We plan to return to Agape Senior to perform on Friday, May 29^th. As of now, plans are to leave Fulmer at 8:30 A.M. and return at 2:00 P.M.  Lunch plans are TBA.  The cost will be less than $10. 

 

 

Please mark your calendars for our Fabulous Fulmer Falcon Chorus Spring Concert at 7:00 P. M. on Monday evening, May 11th, at Mount Hebron UMC!  See you there!

If you are in 6th grade general music, we are learning about musicals on Broadway and are focusing on Annie!  In 7th and 8th grade chorus, we will focus on learning our  music for our spring concert on Monday, May 11th, at 7:00 P. M. Get ready for our "Hairspray" rendition!
